here
God with us
rice granules Tuesday seconds
fish bowl bubbles and
left elbow
hi, my name is I AM and
I’m in everything.
the trees’ ears and ocean’s wave
squirrels’ secret nuts to clouds’ late night cry
I AM
in your broken love by that guy in 2000 and the job you lost soon after and the dumpster dive your heart took with it all
I AM
in the beach you got married on five years later, the right one, I AM in each sand grain witnessing the two footprints becoming one
I AM
in Coffee I AM in sun
light to lift the load
you bear so
heavy but i’m
everywhere
so let this be your anthem
cry—God here
in
us
